Programs in Niagara
Project Rewind
The REWIND program, which uses a proactive and collaborative approach to addressing harmful incidents, can be found in elementary, secondary and alternative education schools across all four of the Niagara Region school boards.
This restorative justice program is made possible through partnerships with the school boards, Contact Niagara and the Niagara Regional Police.
Restorative conferences are held with all relevant parties in attendance. The goal is to provide a safe environment, wherein each participant is able to share how they were impacted by the incident; in a diplomatic and non-judgmental manner.
To learn more about volunteer opportunities within the REWIND program please contact the Restorative Justice Program Coordinator at 905.682.2657, ext. 258.
